Another new Borden photo
Until Emma Borden's diary surfaces -- we could wish -- a devoted student of the Crime of the Nineteenth Century is uncovering more family photos.
Stefani Koorey, whose website Mondo Lizzie Borden and quarterly The Hatchet are devoted to the 1892 mystery, has discovered yet another photo, this one of a young Emma Borden, to add to others she has discovered of Lizzie and other relatives. The local paper ran the photo and the skinny.
The most recent edition of her quarterly review has themes long familiar to Borden-ites, including an account of a research trip to Anaconda, Montana, to find Bridget Sullivan.
Heck, I'd settle for finding Bridget's diary.
So would I ! Can you imagine! "It was burning hot today and even though I was sick, Mrs Borden insisted that I wash the windows. I was sick again and found Miss Lizzie's best axe and decided to use it on Missus for being so unkind. Then Mr Borden came back and I had to kill him too, or he'd have found out about the missus"...
