Dominick Dunne is Back in the Galley

After being stricken with a sudden illness during OJ Simpson's current trial in Las Vegas, which resulted in his temporary hospitalization, legendary true crime writer Dominick Dunne is back.

Said Mr. Simpson, apparently without guile, "Mr. Dunne, nice to see you back."  (Via e! online)

Say what you want about OJ (though it's all been said before), that was nice.

The press is not reporting Mr. Dunne's reply. We'll have to wait for the next issue of Vanity Fair.

Dunne, 82, was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer, and this week's illness was deemed an infection. Following the Simpson trial, he has promised us his memoirs.
